Annual vacation to Myrtle Beach is something I look forward to every year. I hang out with my family and just have a good time. For the past 3 years, my fiance and his son have been attendance. My goal for this year was to definitely explore Myrtle Beach even more than I have before. If you are traveling to Myrtle Beach this year, you will want to check out this post.

We arrived Saturday evening in Cherry Grove. A beach house is the only way we roll around here. We lucked out on this beautiful beach house called Maggie’s Retreat which has 5 bedroom, 4.5 baths, two living rooms, a newly remodeled kitchen with a front and back porch. And the house is backed up on the channel where you can fish or crab. The beach is only a block away. It’s definitely perfect and the best house by far since I was a kid to stay in.

My favorite things is all the food, shopping and beach. Myrtle Beach is filled with nothing but all those things.

BurgerFi is a wonderful burger spot we always stop at I got the double bacon cheeseburger and shared some chili cheese fries with my fiance. The only setback is if you have a peanut allergy. They cook everything in peanut oil. Hopefully they will change that one day.  This restaurant located in North Myrtle Beach and do have a full service bar.

The Taco Shack is on Main St. In North Myrtle Beach. We definitely went to eat after 10pm and it was working it. I got the blackened shrimp taco and the beef taco. I was definitely pleased. If you want a quick bite to eat and are staying in N. Myrtle Beach this is definitely one of the spots.

Tanger Outlets Hwy 17

Because I’m cheap, I’m a frequent outlet shopper. I’m always hitting the Tanger Outlets when I come down. Unfortunately, I didn’t find any gems except for Pop Sasha and Simma from one of those comic book stores.

Coastal Grand Mall

This was the first time ever going to this mall in all the years coming down. My fiancé was cleaning up on all things adidas. I’m not alone in my quest. One day I’ll be sponsored. I did pick up some adidas Deerupt for $50 at Foot Locker.

Barefoot Landing

This place is growing. We stopped at their new restaurant Taco Mundo Kitchen Y Cantina. And yes I am eating tacos again. It reminded me of RuRu Tacos & Tequila here in Charlotte. Still doesn’t beat them but that lobster taco made for a delicious meal.

Broadway at the Beach is where we ended up one of the 7 days we were here. I only went here for one reason Key West Grill. Their Conch fritters are what I want and I want I love. I will be there every year getting my fix on that delicious fish. I also got their shrimp and lobster nachos. Yum!

If you want to get out of the hot sun, we go play laser tag. I actually really love playing and only started playing last year. We went to Extreme Laser Tag. We didn’t even spend money. Their tickets never expire so you can use them for next year.
